About Michael Martino

Michael's education in the art of stained glass began in 1971 when he was privileged to study under Maestri Lindo and Alessandro Grassi in Milan, Italy from 1971-1974. Grassi Vetrate d'Arte (Grassi Art Glass Studio) is one of Italy's most renowned and internationally known stained glass studios. While studying in Milan, Michael was trained in design, execution and restoration of various styles and types of stained glass. Since 1975 his studio, now in Uxbridge Massachusetts, has been dedicated to maintaining the standards Michael learned in Milan.

Michael is the proud father of  four grown children and now 14 grandchildren. He is actively involved in his Church and enjoys hiking and beekeeping. Michael is author of the book titled "The Shrouded Deception", a fictional account of a modern day adventure to unveil secrets surrounding the Shroud of Turin.
